The 66th filmfare awards ceremony 2021

 

Filmfare is a set of awards ceremony in honor of artists and excellence in hindi language film industry. And , it is one of the popular event show all over the india.

The Filmfare award ceremony took place every year. This year the award ceremony took place in Mumbai in 28th March , 2021 on Sunday evening .

The ceremony event was attended by many Bollywood celebrities like Taapsee Pannu, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sunny Leone, Nora Fatehi, Riteish Deshmukh and Rajkummar Rao along with other stars.

Irrfan Khan won a posthumous award: Best Actor – for his work in Angrezi Medium.

The late actor was also honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the event. Irrfan Khan’s son Babil received the trophies on his father’s behalf at the Filmfare awards.

Taapsee Pannu won the Best Actress Award for the film Thappad, which also bagged the Best Film, Best Story and Best Editing trophies.

Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor (Critics) award for his performance in Gulabo Sitabo.

Saif Ali Khan won the Best Actor In A Supporting Role award for his work in Tanhaji.
